Tiny Thinkers

In our 2s classroom, toddlers explore, express themselves, and grow — all in a safe, play-filled environment with caring teachers by their side.

Tiny Thinkers
Program Overview

Ages 2-3

Two-year-olds are curious, expressive, and constantly on the move. In our Tiny Thinkers classroom, we create a safe, playful environment where toddlers can explore their independence while staying connected to trusted adults.

Our days are filled with sensory experiences, songs, movement, and hands-on play. Teachers support children in using language, making choices, and beginning to understand emotions — all within a consistent daily rhythm and strong, nurturing relationships.

Our Play-Based Approach

At Early Alpine, toddlers learn through doing. We provide open-ended materials, a steady daily routine, and gentle guidance to help children make sense of their world through play.

Children in this age group thrive on repetition, sensory input, and warm interactions. Our toddler classrooms blend child-led exploration with simple teacher-guided moments like songs, group snack, art, and outdoor play. Learning happens through touch, movement, and connection.

Choice & Exploration

Children learn through sensory play, blocks, art, dramatic play, and movement. These choices build confidence, creativity, and focus — all while giving toddlers a sense of control in their day.

Guided Learning Moments

We keep group times short and interactive — singing songs, reading simple stories, and exploring early concepts through movement and materials. Teachers guide without overwhelming.

Emotional Growth

We help toddlers feel secure, supported, and seen. With warm guidance and a simple daily rhythm, children begin to express themselves, explore their world, and build early relationships.

A Day in
Tiny Thinkers

Our toddler day runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with optional extended care until 6:00 PM.

The day begins with open play, giving children time to ease into the morning, explore the classroom, and connect with teachers. After a group snack, we head outside — toddlers need time to run, climb, dig, and move their whole bodies.

Late morning includes short, teacher-led activities like songs, books, and simple art or sensory play. These experiences are hands-on and often repeated day to day, helping toddlers feel secure and build early skills.

Lunch happens midday, followed by rest time. In the afternoon, we ease back into play, spend more time outside, and end the day with music, stories, and familiar routines that help toddlers wind down.

Throughout the day, teachers stay close — offering comfort, guiding play, and supporting children as they build trust, express themselves, and start to explore the world on their own terms.
